A:AnswerThe lights are from below and through the keys themselves. That is - the keycaps are opaque but the letters/characters on each key will illuminate. The light will also emit from below the keys themselves in more of an aura/glow. The opaque key and shine-through characters are called doubleshot.
If you want a higher level of light to shine/show there are keycaps made to show more of the light. Look for the HyperX pudding caps for an example.
