Yes, you can upgrade the motherboard. As long as RAM fits the generation of your motherboard. Having more RAM does increase your gaming performance. Your system can run WGT on high settings.
A:AnswerSadly, this machine most likely did not come with a cd / dvd rom drive. I know mine did not. It would probably be easier to retrieve the drivers from the Nvidia website ( http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us ). That is the route i took.. Once installed it will inform you when updates to the driver are available.
If you feel you must use the disk you will need to purchase an external cd / dvd drive.
