A:Answer This PC should have no trouble with either Squads or Arma 3 as is. The biggest potential bottleneck is the 1gb HD, which I replaced with a SSD. That's not a serious problem for most, as the OS is on the default SSD, but I like to be able to keep data and big programs off the OS disk.
VR ready is a more complex issue. As is, it more than exceeds current published VR req's, but who knows where the VR gaming is going to take us, as that's a rapidly moving target. I'd say that this PC is likely to be one of the most cable VR ready machines readily available, without custom building a real beast. The cooling is good, the motherboard and PS are robust, so junking the HD for a large SSD makes this a good candidate. The remaining weakest point is the graphics card. The provided 1080 is amazing, even at 4k 60 hz, but it is NOT the most powerful graphics card available, but again that is a moving target, and is easily changed, as this PC has plenty of room and slots available inside, as well as a decent amount of power supply reserve and case and CPU cooling reserve.
Hope that helped.
