QuestionWill this fit an 11x11 inch square plate? Thank you.

- Answer Yes, your 11x11 inch square plate will fit! Even a 12x12 or 13x13 will also fit. Per the interior dimensions stated in the user manual PDF: 13.9 × 14.5 × 9.1 in. (35.3 × 36.8 × 23.2 cm) This just means it won't clear the sides when rotating on the diagonal, but your food will still be heated. Also, the 12 inch turntable is not the limit to a round plate, there is almost an inch of clearance around it so any diameter below 13.9" should be okay.

- Answer This microwave is actually bigger than I had anticipated. The external dimensions are 20.2 in.(length) x 15.7 in. (width) x 12.1 in. (height). It takes up a considerable amount of space on my kitchen counter. THE PRICE IS A NICE LURE--but then again, there is a reason it is priced so low. It is cheaply made. The door is hard to open and shut and , more importantly, it makes a noticeable knocking noise when in use. Before buying, read all the available reviews provided on-line by BEST BUY. Most are happy because of the price, but there are considerable bad reviews. Pay a few dollars more and get a Toshiba (read it's reviews).

- Answer Yes, like most microwave ovens, it will "pulse" in accordance with whatever you punch into the keypad. Example: Set to 60%, and cooking will be "shut off" for 40% of the time the oven is running.

- Answer Microwave is slightly heavy. Biggest problem and concern is that when defrosting or heating anything for more than 5 minutes, it overheats. I'm sure its not going to last longer.. Won't recommended.

QuestionI only have 14 1/2 inches of tabletop space for the depth a microwave. The depth of this microwave is 15+ inches, I’m assuming the legs it stands on are a smaller distance than that. Will the legs of this microwave fit on a 14 1/2 inch table depth wise?

- Answer Ok, I'll try my best to answer. This microwave is 15.7" in depth. From the front of the microwave, the front legs are set back 2 7/8", so almost 3". If your counter from back to front is 14 1/2" then this would technically be stable, but it will stick out 1 1/4" from your countertop's edge.

- Answer This was my first worry, I called Best Buy, read about it, and checked website, all negative for prop 65. As cancer is a issue in my family I definitely didn't want any prop 65 warning appliances around. Best Buy chat and Insignia were very understanding of my concerns, and very helpful, I love this microwave.

- Answer No, the timer is already in use counting down your cooking time. I'm assuming you want to time something other than what's being prepared in the microwave since its...already being timed, so my advice is to use an external timer. Phone, tablet, oven, egg timer etc... Counting 1 mississippi also works.
