QuestionHow long can it shred without needing a cool down period?

- Answer How much paper will the shredder shred without the shredder being dead? The shredder will shred as much paper as the shredder will shred without the motor being shred. Once the motor is shred, the shredder won't shred because the shredder is dead. If you ask how much shred you can shred to roll in your paper instead. I've no clue how much shred the shredder can shred without the shredder motor going dead. The manual says the duty cycle is 3 minutes on, 30 minutes off but it seems to last longer if you don't shred the max of 10 sheets at a time.

QuestionThe specs say this shredder uses a lockout key but I can't see it anywhere. Does it in fact use a lock out key?

- Answer Not sure what a lock out key is. The device has Forward, Auto, Off and Reverse buttons. The top has a handle to lift the shredder head (it's very heavy) off the box container. This automatically shuts the device off. Then it has be reseated correctly to turn back on. There are also Overheat, Overfeed, Power and Door Open lights,

- Answer You lift the handle from the back where it is sitting on the bottom basket then pull up...just be careful otherwise the cuttings will go everywhere.
