A:Answer There is a small internal fan that circulates air across the compressor coils. It's almost completely inaudible, especially with the door closed, but it's not a convection fridge. That being said, you'll never feel cold air blowing on you, even if you open the door while the compressor is running. (In fact, just the opposite — the fan pulls air from the compartment to cool it, so closing the refrigerator door creates negative pressure inside, making it hard to reopen the door for 10-15 seconds until the pressure equalizes.)
