- Answer Thanks, KDub & Anonymous. Indeed, that's how I turned off/on every fridge I've ever had: unplug it. However, on page after page of "how to's," the manual specifically indicates for step one (quoting exactly), "1. Turn off your refrigerator and unplug it from the wall outlet." So there appears to be a switch somewhere. See photo.

QuestionDoes the refrigerator get really cold? I bought a new insignia 4.9 mini fridge, and the fridge part gets like 45-50 degrees on coldest setting, which is not safe. Can someone plz assure me the 11.5 version gets proper cold temps?
