• No. it is a USB extender cable. It is so you can plug a male USB or a dongle into the female end and plug the male end into your device (computer, tablet, TV, etc). It's particularly useful if you want to put the dongle for your wireless keyboard and mouse into one of the rear usb ports on your computer to keep the front ports available for memory sticks and portable drives. the extender cable puts the dongle out where it has better reception for the keyboard and mouse.
