I recently ditched my cable and bought antennas for my TV's in order to get local channels. I used this 12ft chord to extend my access to a window that is 10 feet from the TV. I ran it under an area rug that's in front of the tv which allowed me to place the antenna in a window for the best reception. This particular room is a family room in a split-level, and is 4 feet below ground. So this cable, which boost the range of the antenna to 50 miles or more, worked perfectly. No one knows it's there but me, and the cord being under the area rug is a great camouflage. The reception I get is absolutely outstanding and there are no dangling cords to be seen to create an eyesore in that room. Absolutely a win-win!

I STILL use this extender occasionally. OK, the world is moving to USB 3.0 but the majority of installed gear is still using USB 2.0 and anyhow the 3.0 gear is backwards compatible too. If you have a peripheral device stationed (for whatever reason) more than about 6 feet away from your computer, and it doesn't use wireless, or you don't want to fiddle with wireless, you're going to need an extender USB cable. Here it is! Twelve feet ought to solve your problem!

I needed an extension for my printer USB cable because I moved and the new setup put the printer further from my PC than the original cord would reach. I tried a couple different stores, but they only sold a long USB cable. I needed an extension because the connection to my printer would be very difficult to remove. It finally dawned on me that I should try my old favorite store! Best Buy! I'm totally satisfied with the cord & noticed the store in Port Richey has a LOT more than I expected! They not only have phone/computer goods, but also cool TV's. I will definitely return to this store!

First let me say that this cable does exactly what is intended and the price point is lower than other "big brand" cables on the shelf in the store. That being said - Accessories are always marked up quite a bit in retail stores and I bought it in a pinch and likely could have found a similar cable much cheaper online somewhere if I could have waited for it to arrive. If you need a functioning USB extension cable this will fit the bill.

Needed this to rearrange the living room so I could consolidate my little office area and have the printer close by, especially for scanning, instead of across the room. Unfortunately, I couldn't move my router, since out TV, phone, and internet share the same modem and that had to stay in its location or spend more money on other, more expensive cables. Excellent solution!!

This USB extention cable is high quality and has been working very well for about a month. I predict having to replace all my other out dated components at some point and just be left with this Extension Cable. Make sure to order the correct item with the Male- to-A- Female. There are so many combinations out there.

As a long-time IT professional, I was initially dubious when I first removed the cable from the package since the cable diameter was so small. In my past experience, USB cables with larger diameters were generally more reliable. However, even when added it to the length of the standard USB cable I was trying to extend, this extension cable worked perfectly with no noticable signal or performance loss. I am using it to extend the USB connection for a Brother printer/scanner to a PC and there have been absolutely no problems with either printing or scanning.
