“I just bought an insignia NS-SB216 soundbar. I connected it to my LG tv using a RCA cable (no optical port) on tv. I can hear a hum from the sound bar & sound goes up & down pressing the volume button. Tv volume is turned down. What else I can try?”

• It varies on the TV. Maybe you should consider adjusting the equalizer to the News setting, so you wont have that problem, and instead you'll get the natural sound for what you need. That is what I did when I bought the soundbar, because my sound on the Sceptre HDTV has been a bust, because I couldn't hear the basics.
