- Answer It's normal behavior for the AC unit to exhaust hot air. When the drain tray if full, your air conditioner beeps eight times, P1 appears on the control panel display, and your air conditioner stops. The motor continues to run.

- Answer Provided plate can be attached with the vent outside of the wall. Just use drill and screws on the outer side of the wall.

- Answer You might be able to make something work but it wouldn’t be very easy. The exhaust system has a panel that fits vertical or horizontal windows quite easily. For a crank out window you could use it (exhaust panel placed at an angle butting up against the window) but would have to find a way to insulate above and below where there would be gaps letting warm air in

- Answer Yes, there is a fan option and could be used without hose. Dry mode will require a tube to be attached and drained to a pot for collected water from air.
