• A:Answer That's what I use as my office desktop monitor as the larger TV is in the living room. Years ago wanting to upgrade from a 24" size screen but didn't want to pay the current prices for a larger one so a 32" TV was an easy solution. HDMI out on computer, HDMI in on TV, change the input to HDMI, works great. And if I want a break put a basic antenna on it so can watch a little TV too. But if you don't have that HDMI cable you do need to buy one to hook the computer to the TV.
