Read the instructions carefully. You must make sure to adjust the air conditioner mounting bracket so it is on a slight angle towards the outside of the house. Use a small level to check this. The condensation (water) will drain outside if the bracket and air cond. are angled properly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need to tilt the ac back. When it is level or slightly forward the water in the pan will travel forward. Thus leaking inside instead of draining out the back.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The mounting bracket must be installed into the window opening, angled towards the outside, so the condensation (water) will drain to the outside, not into the house. There are explicit instructions for installation in the carton with the air cond. Set up the mounting bracket in the window, secure it with included screws, and use a small level (6" torpedo level) resting on the top of the bracket rail to make sure the air cond. will be angled to the outside. If you do this properly, the water WILL drain to the outside. I've installed two of these in my home over the last month with no issues.
