A:Answer Excessive icing is due to high humidity, either from the ambient air of the room/space, or from placing warm foods into the fridge that give off humidity while they cool. I get minimal streams of ice that melt and flow to the drain on the back part of the interior as designed to do. Never need to chip off blocks, or manually defrost.
