- Answer I have mine in the side kitchen. Works just fine and beats walking out to the garage. I would only have the freezer plugged into the 1 outlet though so it doesn't trip. Hope this helps!

QuestionHow do I access the power cord? Open here on back panel? But no button? How does it open?

- Answer Just pull along the bottom edge of the panel at the hole where the cord will come out when you close it again. It just pops open and swings up. Then push it closed again over the freed up cord. I suppose you could coil excess cord in their for neatness but I didn't bother.

The baskets are not sold separately by Insignia, but you can find them on Amazon and other online retailers. The baskets are 20.4 x 16.7 x 27.7 inches (518 x 425 x 705 mm) and have a capacity of 2.5 cubic feet. They are made of wire mesh and have a black powder-coated finish. To order extra baskets, you can search for "Insignia 5 cu ft chest freezer baskets" on Amazon or other online retailers. The baskets typically cost around $20 each.
