• The unit has a motor that runs constantly (as long as it's dehumidifying). It's probably going to generate some heat

• Yes, I have it in my living room and it makes the room significantly warmer when it runs.

• I've found the air is room temperature. So, whatever the room is, it comes out at about the same temp.
