A:Answer Lift shredder(motor) using handle and you should hear a click; if you do not hear the click, rotate 180degress and set shredder(motor) onto bin it is made to rest on. Now, lift again, listening for a single-click noise/sound. The click alerts me I have sat it correctly. Within trash bin, notice a plastic-protrusion. Evidently, motor must be seated accordingly to allow that protrusion to activate shredder when paper is inserted.
