• I have had no problem with the stand. Perhaps a bit of sticky backed fabric on the edge might help keep the frame upright,

• I had the same issue until I found out you have to press down with force into twisting it where it locks in. I thought I was gonna break it at first but you'll hear a click sound twisting it farther.
