To connect this tablet to a TV you will need to use an MHL adapter or a casting device, such as Google Cast. I would recommend speaking to your local Best Buy to see what option is best for you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Reviews I saw online state that this tablet does not have the functionality to connect to a TV. However, you might be able to use the SD card itself for video/photos etc on TV. Haven't tried myself.

But anyway I was just scrolling through looking at the Insignia tablet and I saw your question and I believe I can answer this for you. :-) Now, the tablet has Wi-Fi as most devices do I have not looked yet and I don't know if it has Bluetooth as well? But anyway there are several ways that you can connect the tablet to the TV probably the most common would be using a cable which would be an HDMI cable. It would be either a mini or micro HDMI whichever type of HDMI output the tablet has on it. 2, how I connect is like this. And if your TV is a smart TV then you can do the same. Smart TVs have built-in Wi-Fi just like your phone, tablets, laptops... so basically all you're going to do is turn the Wi-Fi on on the tablet. Hopefully like me and my kids you haven't lost the original remote to the TV if not you can download a phenomenal app called peel. Peel is actually already installed on a lot of the newer phones especially the galaxies. And some tablets I've seen. Also by using this app you can configure all your TV's in UR house and name them. Example, living room, bedroom so on and so on you get the point. So once you've turned on your Wi-Fi on your tablet you want to make sure if your TV has Wi-Fi as well you want to make sure your TV is visible the same way you would make sure any other devices would be and just do a search from your tablet and simply connect to the TV. This will allow you to do most everything you need to do. Play movies, music, even stream your screen from your tablet to your TV. Pictures. And much more. Lastly, because I have a smart TV with Wi-Fi this is the way that I do it it's very simple to do. If not then you're going to want to use a cable. The only thing is? I did not look at the specs on this tablet yet you need to make sure your tablet has an HDMI input. Some of the lower-end tablet do not!....... So, first of all I speak my email so I apologize if there are any typos. I believe the info I gave you is true and I hope everything was accurate the other way that I have learned is the basically Jump Right on YouTube you can find a video on how to do everything! I hope I've been of some help to you. And I wish you the best of luck.!!!!! One last thing, there are people that will go out and buy a dongle to make their TV internet ready like I was saying or give it Wi-Fi. Electronics expecially televisions have come down dramatically in price! Even looking at Best Buy they have televisions for a great price. I'm only mentioning this because sometimes the accessories you may need to buy just do not make sense meaning if the dongle you need to make your TV Wi-Fi cost 299. 00 it just does not make sense as you can find a brand new TV maybe not the top-of-the-line brand. But remember, best buys brand well they don't have their own manufacturer and build their own TVs most of these TVs are built by or with a brand name. Samsung, lots are built buy LG so sometimes it may make sense to go buy a new product for a couple of hundred dollars more. Now you're getting a much bigger television, better picture a smart TV if you don't have one with everything you already need just a thought. Hopefully this helps Dante
