A:AnswerYes, the features built in the tv will be accessible.you will have to use one hdmi port in order to use the converter. Apps like hulu, netflix or the like can be opened while tv is switched to the hdmi channel the converter is connected to. I have had 0 problems with this other than the remote control occasionally changes channel when i actually pressed the volume button.
A:AnswerIf your country uses the PAL broadcast system, then you absolutely need to by a TV set that is intended for your country. TVs designed for use in the USA work only on the NTSC/ATSC broadcast system. Your American TV set is useless in your new homeland. You will have to buy a new set.
A:AnswerYes as long as the coaxial out is going to the coaxial in on the back of your TV. You can accomplish the same output of video and audio by using the HDMI out on the converter box to your TV. This is the setup required on my TV since it has no coaxial in (thanks a lot Vizio!).
A:AnswerI use the box along with an antenna to get channels on a small (old school) Samsung TV in my kitchen where there is no cable hookup. It works well - lots of channels are available.
A:AnswerI have not seen this feature. I wish there was a feature to add channels while ensuring the ones you have stay after rescanning. You can rescan to get more channels and lose the channels you want. However, most channels will stay.
