A:AnswerThis is designed only for support of a TV. Weight being a factor. Attaching a shelf to it would be problematic. It would be better to install a separate shelf with its own wall supports and attachments IMO.
A:AnswerI'm not sure but all flat screens use what's called a vesa pattern. You can check both the TV and the mount vesa patterns to see if they are compatible. That's how I found mine.
A:AnswerI mounted this on a center stud. Its solid and works well. Feels solid snd strong. I’m using it for a 24” LG TV. Its mounted in our kitchen, and the application is just right.
One thing to consider is your clearance behind the TV. There’s only room for flatter items like your remote cable tuner.
A:AnswerAnchors and lags depend on the weight of your TV. The TV I installed is very light so I used long self yhreading door screws into the metal studs then used a couple of 90lb rated drywall anchors in the hollow spots of the wall.
A:AnswerThis is a very small bracket, and there's no way they will be too big. I have this on a 32" TV and a 39" TV. Way smaller than any brackets I've used before.
