• If the iphone headphones have a 3.5mm jack then you should not have a problem. I've used my samsung galaxy headphones, jvc earbuds, sony earbuds and skullcandy earbuds all with an inline mic, each have a 3.5mm jack and I have not had a problem. I am not sure what kind of jack the iphone earbuds have.

• Yes. This enables all headphones w/ mics that are designed for Apple products to work (minus the lightning cable ear pods, of course).
