A:AnswerYou better read the specs on your sound bar to see if you can add surround sound speakers to it...I had gotten a Sony sound bar and there was no way to add surround sound because the sound bar was not compatible for any. The Best Buy technician sold me these speakers for nothing and now I'm stuck with them.
A:AnswerIt appears you must buy SWA-8000S Wireless Surround Kit to get the K360 to broadcast to other devices like another brand subwoofer. This Insignia doesn't really provide home theatre quality bass. It has some bass but, as an experienced cheapo, you may as well spend a bit more for the right equipment.
A:AnswerI was faced with the same issue. That into consideration the size of this speaker, and the fact that it won't run stereo. You can run bi-amp to it, but I wouldn't run two channels. With tape wire you can run it on the wall from the source to the speakers, then spray texture over the tape and paint over it. That stuff is so low profile you won't even notice it. For the price you might look into blue tooth too. They work with all receivers. Tape worked better for me as I didn't like the quality of speakers in the blue tooth options. For rear surrounds, quality isn't totally important, but if you run straight stereo for music you will notice a difference. Bets of luck...
A:AnswerThe speakers must be connected to the receiver via speaker wires. There is one speaker color-coded wire for each speaker in the kit and they are each about 8' long. So you can get about 16' of separation. Personally, I don't like that set-up, so I decided to go a different direction, but they may work in your configuration.
A:AnswerThese speakers will work with a soundbar if the soundbar has one of the following connections:
1) RCA line output
2) 1/8" (3.5mm) TRS AUX output
3) TOSLINK OPTICAL output AND you must be able to set the audio format to 2-CHANNEL (STEREO) PCM.
4) USB AUDIO OUT. Note that the presence of a USB connection on the soundbar is NOT necessarily sufficient. The soundbar must be cable of sending digital audio OUT over the USB connection, AND the sampling rate and quantization depth must be within the limits of the USB DAC in the Klipsch speakers (I was unable to find a published spec.)
A:AnswerThe insignia site lists the output at 2x 10 watts RMS. https://www.insigniaproducts.com/pdp/NS-HURSK18/5864200
This seems low compared to similar Rocketfish devices like the RF-RBKIT which lists at 2x 42W RMS.
