QuestionDo the micro sd cards have to be a certain class to be read?I've been able to use many micro sd cards with this reader to watch movies on my tv. I recently had to buy a new micro sd card. I tried to use the reader on my tv like I have done many times, but this time it says there is something wrong and it will not show the content of my micro sd card. The only difference that I can think of, aside from the name (Samsung 64g), could be the class of the sd card. Do I have to use a class 4 sd card or should it read a class10?

- Answer It will appear in a separate drive. The drivers should install automatically as soon as you plug in the device.

- Answer You likely need to load the drivers for the product to your Macbook. I ran into the same issue and once I loaded the driver, it worked fine.

QuestionDoes the Insignia Card Reader download mobi 8GB +WiFi cards?Also, yesterday, I downloaded 4,000 photos. I haven't deleted any of them yet. Can I download another 2,000 photos from my Ultra 32 GB SanDisk and the mobi 8GB+ WiFi or do I have to eliminate many photos to create space?

- Answer This is an adapter that allows you to plug an SD or micro SD card into a USB port - usually on a computer. The adapter has no storage itself, so it depends how much space is left on your hard drive or other storage device. If your "mobi 8GB + WiFi card" is SD or microSD, then your card should work with this adapter - or you can do without the adapter and transfer the photos to your computer by WiFi.

- Answer Windows 7 loaded driver automatically for me, but as a suggestion, go to Device Manager, find the USB you just installed (you may have to unplug it and replug it in to see where it pops up). Then you should be able to Right Click -- Properties -Driver - Details (somewhere in there is a "Ask Windows to Search Online for Driver".

QuestionDoes this have the capability to Read from one card and Write to the other simultaneously? I need to backup my RetroPie setup to a smaller SD card and the easiest way is to re-partition the bigger card and copy to the smaller card at the same time.

- Answer NO, I tried putting my larger sized 32 MB memory card & my new 200 GB micro memory card into this card reader, & yes I made sure I put each memory card into their proper slots, I then tried transferring everything from my 32 MB memory card straight to the 200 GB micro memory card but both my laptop nor my desktop PCs would NOT recognize both memory cards at the same time, & it would only recognize each one only when I only put 1 memory card in & copy & transfer everything from one memory to my desktop & then I had to remove that memory card & then put my 2nd memory card into this reader & copy & transfer everything from my desktop to the 2nd memory card.
