A:Answer Fortunately, all Roombas will manage rugs as well as fur. I do recommend starting your search at the Roomba e5 level, since that's where the cleaning brushes move to 2 rubber multi-surface versus 1 rubber & 1 bristle. It's a bit better for human and pet hair.
