A:AnswerIt might. It depends on how thick the blanket is. I would put the blanket in a dog bed box so its not on the floor. Keep all loose wires, paper, small things off the floor like you would with a regular vacuum. It is a very good little vacuum. We had ours 2 days now.

There are two ways you can blind the cliff sensors. One doesn't require any physical changes, just taping some laminated white paper to the sensor areas. The other involves permanently blinding the sensors by modifying the sensors themselves, so would only suggest this on an old model that is no longer under warranty. I've tried both options on an old 560 that I now use in my basement where I have 3 black rugs. I wouldn't recommend either modification if you have your Roomba run near stairs, though.
A:AnswerI recently purchased the Roomba 960. I have medium length carpet and 4 pets. The Roomba couldn't pick up most of the pet hair. I would recommend either the i7 or the 980 from my research as they have a more powerful motor.
