- Answer If the space between the USB Type-A and USB-C connectors is 12.48 mm, then it should work with your Surface Pro 7+. This device was specially designed for Surface Pro 7.

QuestionCan you use a USB C charger to charge the Surface Pro 7 while connected to the dock? Additionally instead of a USB C charger can you use this dock and the proprietary charger that comes with the Surface Pro 7 at the same time?

- Answer The USB-C port will support up to 60W pass-through charge. If the Surface Pro 7 comes with a USB-C power brick, you can use your brick with the Mini Dock. If the Power Brick is higher than 60W, it may slow charge your computer or not work at all but will also provide additional power to the USB ports on the Dock.

- Answer I don't believe the Mini Dock will work for the Surface Pro 8. The host connection are USB-A and USB-C. The ports on the Surface Pro 8 states (2 x USB-C® with USB 4.0/Thunderbolt™ 4).

- Answer Only 1 display using the HDMI port. The USB Type-C is for Pass-Through Power to charge the computer.

- Answer No, the JCD324B is designed for the Surface Pro 7 only and due to the physical design connecting via USB-C, this will not insert. The JDD320 (specifically for the Surface Pro 4) connects via Mini-DisplayPort and that will plug in correctly. Feel free to contact support on the casing for further information.

- Answer It could potentially not insert all the way as required to make a proper connection and may not work as intended due to the obstruction. It is recommend to remove the cover from the computer.

- Answer No, the Surface Pro 6 does not support USB-C, only a Mini DisplayPort. The JDD320B ULTRADRIVEMINIDOCK for Surface Pro 4/5/6 will work fine for your Microsoft computer.

- Answer Older iMac models can be used as an external display when plugged into another older Mac model using "Target Display Mode". Not sure it would support Window computers as an additional display.

- Answer Hi Don, to charge your Surface computer, you would need a USB-C to USB-C cable, connect to the USB-C port on JCD324 and the other end to a power brick(65W) and then connect the brick to a wall outlet. - Answer Yes, the JCD324 will support peripherals such as webcams, mics and keyboards. Because the JCD324 has USB 3.0 ports, you may experience radio frequency wave interference and the mouse/keyboard may be lagging, or jumping around - in this case we recommend using wired. In regards to obtaining a display; yes, that will work via HDMI. Yeti Mic, if it connects via USB, it should; but due to voice data transfer, we recommend plugging directly to the computer instead as daisy-chaining causes signal degradation.

- Answer Unfortunately, the JCD324B is a plug and play device and therefore will only support one external monitor plugged in at a time. With the USB-C port on the JCD324B, that is actually for data transfer only, it cannot be used for an additional monitor since it is not a Thunderbolt 3 port. However, if you wish to use multiple monitors I would recommend the JCD381 as it requires a driver to be downloaded and installed and that will allow the use of two HDMI monitors, Ethernet and two USB-A ports for mice, keyboards, flash drives, cameras. ** Feel free to contact us with our information on the packaging for Technical Support, device warranty registration or if you have any other questions and/or require any further assistance and someone will be glad to assist you. - Answer Hello Ivan, the JCD324B is specifically designed for the Surface Pro 7 and it should provide you with an additional HDMI monitor, TV, projector. Because it is a plug-and-play device, it will only provide one additional monitor at a time and not two.
