The USB-C port will support up to 60W pass-through charge. If the Surface Pro 7 comes with a USB-C power brick, you can use your brick with the Mini Dock. If the Power Brick is higher than 60W, it may slow charge your computer or not work at all but will also provide additional power to the USB ports on the Dock.
