I love that I can get extra ports easily with this j5create - it's super helpful when I want to upload pics from my phone to my usb drive and have my mouse wirelessly attached to. :) Highly recommended!

Using a Surface Pro 7, I’ve realized how limited it is with port access as it only has a 1 USB-A, 1 USB-C and a microSD slot. I needed a docking hub that offered more ports and with faster download speed. I was happy with the j5create as it provided what I needed. With the j5, I get 2 usb-A, 1 usb-C, an SD and microSD slot and an HDMI port so I can connect it to a projector. It fits perfectly to the right side of my Surface and still has enough space for the charging cable. Transfer speeds are at 10 GBPs which is fast enough for me. Also, connecting it with HDMI allows 4K viewing. Great product, a little pricey compared to others out there, but am really happy with this accessory. It enhances my entire Surface Pro 7 experience.

Used it but then didn't really think it was worth it. Great if you want HDMI access for surface pro 7, but otherwise it's overpriced.

If you own a Surface Pro 7 and have any need or desire to hook it up to external keyboard, mouse or monitor, this J5create Mini Dock is what you need to make it all seamless. The HDMI port allows you to connect your external monitor and I connect my printer into one of the 2 USB ports (my company VPN prevents wireless printing). I plugged a USB hub into the second port to add 6 additional ports to add Keyboard, Mouse, Photo Scanner (and whatever else you might want). When I need to leave the house I disconnect the dock from the surface, slap on the keyboard/case and I'm out the door! Great add on to your Surface Pro 7 (note, this is NOT compatible with Surface Pro 6 or earlier (though there are different versions available for those models too!)

Does not work with the UAG case, which is a huge shame as I’d love to pair the two together.

This is a great alternative to the full on surface dock, especially if you are on the go and really want to utilize the Ethernet jack. The surface docks are also really nice, but are intended to be stationary, whereas this can easily go in my laptop bag. I’ll be using this a lot during presentations once everything opens back up. I can’t tell you how often I go to conferences to present and the wifi gives out... this will allow me to hardwire in for a better connection.

This dock does exactly what it purports to do. As a matter of design, the HDMI port sits near the top of the dock/surface pro, which increases the chance that the HDMI cable will pull itself out of the port. Were it located nearer the bottom of the dock/device, it would be a bit better. It is small, easy to stow away in your bag, and works as described.

Really helps the Surface be even more usable than it already is!!! Bought it just in time for a conference and couldn’t be happier with how easy it was to install! Just wish it was a little cheaper to purchase!

Love the idea of expanding more ports on my surface pro 7. I thought the usb c port could be used as a charging port for my surface pro but it's only for charging other devices. Has 2 usb ports, 1 hdmi and 1 usb c port. So far so good after about a month of usage.

This dock fits snugly onto the Surface as it should. It provides various needed ports. The only downside I see is it’s width, that is it sticks out over an inch from the the tablet.

Really good quality and it works very well. Definitely something that’s needed when using tablet type laptops.

This is exactly what I needed to use multiple screens on my Surface Pro 7. The extra USB ports come in handy. I could've just bout a different kind of cable that connect directly to the monitor, but expanding beyond the single USB and USB type C ports was a necessity for me.

Must have for your surface devices, its slim design ensures that it does not get in the way of daily activities.

This adapter has it all, This one device gives you all the needed ports that are just not feasible to install in the computer without making it thicker. The only port not available is the ethernet port, but lets be honest if you plan to plug this into a network then just get a full laptop

I have two Surface Pro 7's that I use for work and I have this mini dock for both of them. I absolutely love them. Very simple to use, adds additional usb ports and allows me to directly load files from my camera SD card to my laptop. Very handy!

I really enjoy using this product. It's light & easily attachable to my Surface Pro 7. I use it when I conduct oral briefings/classes at various locations, which oft times require various/different connections. Having this mini dock assures me I will have the ability to connect wherever I teach.
