I was able to connect it to the Pro to use my portable hard drive and other items. The only problem I have is that I also purchased the UAB case for the Pro and with the hard case in place I cannot install the Mini Dock; I literally have to remove the case. Otherwise, it is very useful and I take it everywhere with me.

I ended up buying a more expensive one.

It it nice on the fly like on the road but It's not great for every day use. It made everything a little slower like printing. So I went out and bought a more expensive Thinkpad adapter and this one pretty much sits in my drawer.

Great In the Beginning

The only issue I have is that every time I use it my screen blacks out. Per Best Buy Geek Squad I was told not to disconnect it and it should be fine. I did just that and leaving it connected to my computer made the blacking out worse.

Good if a case is not on the device

Will not work even though the case.. Otterbox for example… says all devices will work. Very disappointed that the device can not be protected and have the convenience of the extra ports.

If you have had this plugged in for a while and you start getting disconnected from the internet, unplug this and everything works again.

This only works with laptops that have a USB and USB-C port directly next to one another. The Lenovo I planned to use this for only has a usb-c.
