QuestionI have an MSI GF 63 laptop. Will this docking station work with this laptop? The last one I bought ( j5 create jcd543) won’t work even after purchasing the extra power adaptor.

- Answer Works with my Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 so I imagine it will work with your laptop. Was the power adapter 65 Watts? You also need software to run the dock.

QuestionJust bought this to connect two HDMI monitors to my Dell, Windows laptop. I’ve connected both HDMI monitors to this device and plugged this into my USB-C port, yet my computer is not detecting any additional monitors. It is also NOT charging my laptop.

- Answer I'm currently using UGreen's 0.5m USB C Extension cable, it works fine for extending the JCD381 to connect to my laptop. (Power, 2 Displays, USB) all connect. You could give that a try. It's pretty cheap too.

- Answer Yes. the JCD381 would require drivers to be installed onto your computer. Please visit our website to download the driver located under the "Support" tab > "Downloads/Drivers > locate a box that states "Type your model number here" (JCD381).

QuestionCompatibility with Dell Inspiron 7306 2n1, when set up the JCD381 heats up and the PC battery experiences a net drain, 381 software driver was installed, does Dell Inspiron 7306 2n1 not support Thunderbolt or USB Type-C docking solutions?

- Answer The JCD381 being a driver based model would not require Thunderbolt capability for proper functionality. In the case where the JCD381 is draining your battery rather than charging it, this could be due to different reasons and in such cases, we recommend contacting support to speak with a rep.

- Answer At least in Windows 10 you be able to, just have to go to display settings and make sure that the PC detects/recognizes 3 screens also that you'd like to extend the displays. From there you should experiment on your desired orientation. Hope that helps!!!

- Answer No, because the Surface Pro 3 does not have USB-C ports on it, you will not be able to obtain full functionality of the dock if you were to use a converter, which we do not recommend.
