QuestionRe: 3 ohms vs 4 ohms Greetings, I just purchased the Pioneer DMH-W4660NEX head unit. In reviewing the manual it indicates that I can only use 4 ohms when dealing with a four speaker configuration. Is there a work around so I can use 3 ohms?

- Answer I have a mixed bag (4-ohm fronts and these 3ohm speakers. I’m always nervous the amp is going to push that stage over its limit. Yes, I have all gains set for voltage but honestly, it’s WAY easier to have the same impedance for amp settings and know what the amp is delivering to the speakers.

QuestionI have a VW jetta SE 2012 I believe this car has 4 speakers. I am looking at these JBL speakers but it says 2 way speakers. Would i have to buy 2 sets of these and remove the 4 speakers already in the car and replace them with the 4 jbl speakers?

- Answer The two way speakers means the main speaker has a second tweeter for the higher range of sound. The box has a pair of speakers in it. So you would need two pairs if your car has four speakers
