A:AnswerHello! The Pulse 2 and Flip 4 have different features for it to be able to connect to another speaker. The Pulse 2 has the Connect while the Flip 4 has the Connect+ which is a newer version. This is the reason why the two speakers will not connect to each other.
A:AnswerThe JBL CONNECT + is not backwards compatible to the JBL CONNECT and vice-versa. JBL CONNECT + allows you to connect up to 100 speakers with this feature such as the FLIP 4 and the PULSE 3. The XTREME and CHARGE 3 will soon be part of the JBL Connect + compatible devices.
A:AnswerYes it is. Our previous Flip 3's USB port got damaged and when I tried to replace it via the extended warranty B.B. did not carry it anymore. As a result I ended up obtaining the Flip 4. It sounds great and 100% louder. You will not be disappointed.
