Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yea, it won't go on with a case on. Has to be attached to the bare back of the phone to connect.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes as well with all mods you get.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you do.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For most cases, you will need to remove your case to use the speaker as the mod needs direct contact with the contacts on the back of the phone which the majority of cases will not allow.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unfortunate ly yes unless your case only goes around the edge and doesn't cover the back.. Kinda stupid none has made a case to work with any mods not speaker or battery.. That seems like an obvious thing to have why even have the mods of you can't use em easily with your phone without taking the case of!? Friggin stupid if you ask me
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you bought a separate case that's not the back cover the phone comes with then yes, you'd have to take the case off to attach the mod.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you have to remove the back cover for any of the mods, including the JBL Speakers. This is very easy to do, because of the magnets holding the cover on and the small groove on the bottom of the cover.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you are referring to a case such as an OtterBox, then you would be correct, sir. The speaker connects through the Moto mod attachment on the back of your phone, which is a contact attachment and adheres to it by a magnet. It essentially acts as a new backing to your phone. I hope this is resolved any questions regarding this attachment.
