“The handle is round stainless steel and protrudes apox 3". Is there a replacement that is more like a tapered handle. Like the ones that have been around the last 10 years. I would prefer this to match my other appliances. Thanks”

If you go into the store you may be able to special order it that way. I was offered that as an option at a different store when I bought mine. I bought from best buy though because the price, warranty and installation were better. They might be able to do it as well if you go in store. FYI this is a really great dishwasher.... So quite that the light is the only way to know it is running.
