Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it can replace the GE. We also bought this to replace our GE Profile downdraft cook top. I was shocked at how few choices there are for replacing a downdraft cooktop. I think the Kitchen Aid is a little smaller than the GE since the cooktop surface is thinner. The fan motor housing looks to be about the same size, though.
