“Extended warranty questions My Range that i purchased on Jan 4th is being delivered on jan 20th. I assume my extended warranty (GSP plan) starts the day it arrives, right? I was told i had time to reconsider the protection plan, and now i'm reading that the protection plans are not a good use of money. Do i get 15 days or 30 days to return the protection plan? I used a new best buy visa that i opened the night of the purchase, not sure but i think that gave me some advantages related to returns? To be clear i want to know when is my last day to return the protection plan? The protection plan covers open box items right?”

I was reading the reviews and I had to let you know it is really best to keep your extended protection warranty plan in place... I just bought a Kitchen Aid range and this time with an extended warranty plan... previously had a new 2 yr old LG...and it completely died on me...had NO extended plan in place...I could have had the LG repaired free of charge...we learned our lesson. Just Saying from someone out over a thousand dolllars.

I have the GSP plan on both my KitchenAid appliances and i've had to use them both. Geek Squad has been very helpful in fixing any issues and i feels it's worth every penny. I would imagine you have 15 days from date of purchase to return the plan.
