The guide says range must exhaust outside unless using "ductless venting". What is ductless venting? There is no other reference in the guide. I am interested in this because I have a concrete slab to exterior wall and exit thru roof, which is a long run. null

Tim, the Range downdraft does require venting. There are some Ductless Downdraft Venting Kits available to purchase separately when venting to the outside is either not possible or not desirable in the kitchen.
