• A:Answer It comes with several adapters so you can handle several kinds of film negatives and also one for slides. You can simply feed them into the scanner. Works really slick on both film negatives and slides. Scanned about 600 pictures in a short period of time. Caution, you do need a digital photo SD card to store the pictures and then move them into a file on your computer.

• A:Answer Hello Notes! The unit can have the date set in the photo's metadata, not to be displayed on the scan. There is no option to make notes for a scan.

• A:Answer The images are saved as JPG files. So far, I have only been saving images from 50 x 50mm slides. There seems to be a little cropping when the film in the slide is 135. This could be a result of how well I've centered the picture. There are no guidelines on the screen for lining up the image.
