If you are downloading the software from Laplink's software because you bought a digital download, then it works just like any other program you download from a website.
A:AnswerThe licensing is to allow a move from 1 computer to 1 computer. The program works very well. I migrated Windows 7 and Windows 8 machines to new Windows 10. It saved me a lot of time. The real value is being able to move applications that you might have installation media for or the installer doesn’t work on Windows 10. I was able to move about 90% of the applications over. I recommend advance mode and don’t select any drivers software that doesn’t exist on the new computer.
