• My machine makes zero noise. I don't ever heard a fan noise comping form the CPU box.

• The Lenovo IdeaCentre A540-24 All-In-One system does have an internal cooling fan that automatically operates to maintain the proper operating temperature of the system. The speed of the internal fan will automatically modulate based on the workload the system is experiencing. You will be able to hear the fan when it is running.
