There is only about 8.5 GB free space on the Chromebook so best to keep your music external. You can use an external hard drive OR there is an SD card slot. I keep a 32 GB plugged in most of the time. You can put your library on the SD card. This Chromebook has a music player but, of course, will not run iTunes so you likely not have access to your play lists. I put some music that I listen to frequently (about 8 songs) on the downloads folder in the Chromebook for fast access.
