• I could not download any microsoft products on it so I would say no.

• No, this system uses Google Docs which as a program similar to Word and is compatible with Microsoft Word. So a paper created in Google Docs can be opened by someone using Microsoft Word. The opposite is also true; Google Docs can open and edit a Word document.
