- Answer No. Cheap laptops don't come with backlit keyboards. You have to buy those expensive laptops to get one. The alternative is buy an USB lamp so you can type in the dark.

QuestionI know there is no DVD/CD drive, but can you connect to an app to be able to watch a movie while traveling? I guess music would be via iTunes, correct? I just want a basic, small laptop for vacationing to do the things I do on my desktop when home.

- Answer As long as you have WiFi connectivity, you can stream movies from sources such as Netflix with this device. You can use iTunes or Google music for music listening.

Please make sure you protect the computer with anit-virus software; the laptop is offering software for free for 6 months.

- Answer In the case of the 1-year subscription to Microsoft Office, it is activated when you set up Windows 10 not necessarily when you activate the trial. The Kaspersky is activated at the time of purchase, at the register, when the clerk scans the product.
