You will be able to use approximately 20GB, the rest is used for the operating system and other critical files to run the system. If you need more storage, you can use the SD card slot or the USB port to add external storage. 20GB will hold approximately 4,000 songs or a mix of songs and pictures and other files. So depending on how many songs you have, that will decide how much space you will have left for pictures and other files.
