“Possible battery defect... Hovering over the task bar on the battery icon, it reads "99% not charging"; please know that I do have the charger plugged to the device. Does anyone else have this problem?”

The energy management system on this device is set up to no continue charging if the battery is at 90% of capacity at the time of plug-in. Let the battery drain down to below 50% and it will charge normally to 100%. This is done to prolong battery life.
