Q: QuestionHello, I've had issues with overheating with previous legion models. The previous model has been so hot that I wouldn't be able to touch the power button without burning myself. What is the normal temperature this laptop should be while gaming?

• A:Answer I watched some YouTube videos that showed you how to download a program to check the temperatures. If it's no longer normal, you can return it. I did have to return one because of a freeze issue. I assume it was also due to temperature issues, perhaps a manufacturing issue with the ventilation. I have this new one, and I haven't had those issues in high-performance mode for games; it gets normally hot.

We'd like to share a couple things to try to address what you've shared. To start, if you can't see your mouse, it's possible that your touchpad is turned off. To check, you can press the Fn + F10 key (should see a touchpad symbol with a line through it). Alternatively, in Windows Settings, follow these steps to get to touchpad settings: Bluetooth & Devices > Touchpad. There should be an option to toggle the touchpad here, please ensure it is on. If this doesn't resolve the issue and number input isn't working when Num Lock is enabled, this could be due to a system bug. From here, we recommend ensuring you have the latest software by checking for updates, as this could correct the issue. To do so, first, open the Settings app > Select the Windows update tab > Select the Check for updates button, apply all available updates. Next, open the Lenovo Vantage app > on the homepage, select the Check for updates button, following on-screen prompts to apply all available updates here as well. If after the available updates are applied and the system restarts, yet the issue persists, in-depth troubleshooting will be necessary to fix the problem. Q: QuestionWhen i turn on my laptop it says "g-sync test mode / uncertified g-sync display detected" how do i fix this? Every time i have to press the windows button + p to select "pc only" because its detecting 2 monitors?? I've already updated drivers

There are several RTX 50 series GPU users who have shared that this issue has affected their system after recent NVIDIA graphics driver updates. While we work on the back end with NVIDIA to discover the root of the issue and provide long-term resolution, we recommend trying fixes that other users have like rolling back driver updates and manually selecting the GPU in use within gaming settings to name a couple.
