hi, it does not have a sd card reader, BUT usb flash card readers/writers & hubs are inexpensive AND many are usb 3.0 or newer which would be double the speed of any internal sd reader, plus many can connect to a phone or camera as well, the lenovo has type A usb ports--phones/cameras have type C or mini A (android older) some devices have both or adapters are available cheap. The same answer applies to wifi--newer usb adapters are much faster than original. I do not work for Lenovo or Best Buy but have several of these M700's & M93's, they are very durable!
