Display was extremely bright out of the box. Easily dimmed a bit through settings. No problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think you should check out a different Lenovo unit. I have had to reduce brightness my ~20% because mine is VERY bright. Also, how bright was the lighting in the store? That will surely affect how well you are able to distinguish brightness. Hope this helps,
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No its seems very bright to me. I don't use it outdoors though. You might more likely face the problem of the minimum brightness being to high. It's almost to bright if you try to use in relative darkness.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've had mine for a while and no problem with the screen brightness, even in bright daylight. At night I frequently turn it down when using in a dark room so that it's not so bright.
