“Headphone Jack Bad X 2 Is anyone else having trouble with the headset jack on this model? I have tried 3 different headphones. No sound, except occasional scratchiness if I move the plug around. Took tablet # 1 (which was kit kat) back and exchanged it. Tablet #2 (lolllipop) has exact same problem. Very frustrated!”

I was having same problem but after cleaning mic port with pin is working fine, u can have a try , hope helps.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I thought it may have been just my unit until i read this. I have to plug and unplug 2 or 3 times to get the sound to work in headphones. also noticed if you wiggle the jack to much the body of the tablet comes loose from screen at that point

I just had to replace headphones that went belly up because of the placement of the jack port on the top. Too much stress on the cord I think. Kind of bummed! They were my favorite headphones. Hope I can find another pair! Hope you're able to straighten it out. It's really a decent tablet for the price...
